Live Life collage

Live Life Collage
Welcome to my blog, today I have a fun collage that you can create with any of the supplies you have at your fingertips! It can be created with any stamps and papers you have in your stash.

I have been playing with 4" x 4" sized collages lately because it seems like a doable size when I am busy with life. I like to create on this size because it is fun and makes you really look at your stash in a new way.

Supplies -
4" x 4" black chipboard
Tea stained book page
Black Thread
Wow gold embossing powder
Paper Studio B/W abstract print paper
Aleene's tacky glue
Tombow mono permanent adhesive
Versamark ink pad
Jam paper 110lb white cardstock
Ranger Archival ink - plum, coffee, and jet black
Paper Bag Studio Stamps - Live Life! and Diamonds
Stamping platform
Tim Holtz blending tool and sponges

1. Tear edges of tea stained book page towards you to fit the 4" x4" black chipboard

2. Rub the coffee ink pad around the edges of the torn page and pounce it over the whole page to give it more color, set aside

3. Stamp the Live Life! stamp on the white cardstock in black ink

4. Using the blending tool, cover the stamped image with plum ink and cut out leaving a small edge around the image

5. Using the blending tool, cover the abstract printed paper with coffee ink and ink the edges of the stamped image with jet black

6. Take the book page and using Versamark ink, stamp the diamond pattern on the page, then turn it and stamp again on the other half of the page. Cover with gold embossing powder and heat set

7. Assemble the pieces -
a. glue embossed book page to the black chipboard
b. glue stamped image to the abstract pattern paper
c. use tombow adhesive on the back of the pattern paper to help hold the thread in place
d. use tacky glue around the edges of pattern paper to glue to the embossed page
