Scrapping4funChallenges - Challenge #140 Coffee/Tea/Cocktails

Hello everyone! I managed to land another design team member appointment at Scrapping4FunChallenges and this is my first blog post for them. The theme is Tea/Coffee/Cocktail Challenge #140 and the sponsor is Di's Digi Stamps.

Here are the supplies I used to create the first card - kraft cardstock, printed papers, Gina K Connect glue, Distress Ink Vintage Photo, coffee cup die.

I first cut the coffee cup die out 3 times and glued them together to give it some dimension, then cut the pattern paper to fit the card front and using the blending tool vintage photo ink around the edges to soften the colors. Added washi tape to anchor the coffee cup, 3 little button embellishments and the sentiment is heat embossed in white.

I created a second card using Clear Whimsy Coffee Break stamps with matching dies. I used the beans and circle stamps from the set along with Vintage Photo ink and stamped the background until it was covered in the print. Then using the dies, cut the cup, cup lid and cup holder from paper and used the ink on these pieces. I then stamped the sentiment on the cup and used foam tape to add the cup to the front of the card. I used the beans and circles to stamp on the back of the envelope for an added personal touch,
