TCW Splatter Cards for any Occasion

Hello! Today is my last day as a guest designer for The Crafter's Workshop, I want to thank them for providing this opportunity to me and I had soooo much fun!!

Stamp used is by Stamp On It - Primitive angel

I have several different cards in this series to show you, so sit back with your favorite cup of coffee, tea or whatever you are drinking this time of year and enjoy the show! These cards were so fun to make and easy to create, you will be making lots of them in no time!

I used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder but The Crafter's Workshop has Ken Oliver Color Bursts that will do the same thing, check them out at this link.

First of all, lay down white cardstock slightly larger than your card front and tape a stencil down over it. I used TCW879 Gauze designed by Jaime Echt and TCW876 Screen View designed by Rebekah Meier for these cards.

Sprinkle the watercolor powder over the stencil and then spritz with water.

While the stencil is still wet, lay another sheet of cardstock over this and rub it to pick up the color. This will create another print for later use.

Next, pick up the stencil and lay it aside, your paper will look like the one above, set it aside to dry or use a heat tool for faster results. Then using, TCW9003 Gold Gesso, splatter this over the card front, for an extra pop of color. I love this stuff, I have been using it on everything!!

I used rubber stamp images from various companies to layer over the top and then stamped the sentiment directly onto the watercolor layer. Below are the other cards I created using this technique.

Stamp by Katzelkraft stamps - Voody Dog

Stamp by Concord and 9th (similar stamp) the above stamp was a limited edition through Simon Says Stamps Stamptember 2018 - Monster Love

The Crafters Workshop (TCW) would love to see what you create with their Stencils and Mediums. You can share it on the Facebook PageInstagram and Pinterest using hashtag #stencillove.

Thanks for stopping by!!
