Hello, I am not the blog today with Blank Page Muse creating a quick card for any occasion! These cards are so fun and fast to make, you will wonder why you haven't got a whole box of them waiting for a birthday, wedding, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and more.
Using the flower stamps from the Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls stamp set, and Distress Inks in various colors, you can create cards in no time at all!
On a white card base, randomly stamp the flowers from the stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and emboss the images with clear ink. You do not have to emboss but I liked the raised shiny images. Then using 2 colors of coordinating Distress Ink, rub it on the table and spritz with water. Just a bit of water will do.
Then, randomly lay your card base in the ink and give it a quick twist, dry between each smoosh for a more intense color.
Don't waste any of the ink!! With the excess inky color, smoosh the front of your envelopes for a coordinating look!
