Dad Card s4fc 141

Hello! This card is my first digi-stamp! Lots of firsts lately for me but I am learning so much and if you know me well, you know I love learning in any capacity whether it is traditional classes to learning new art techniques.

This card was designed for Scrapping4funchallenges - Challenge #141 Masculine

To create this card, I started with the digi-stamp from Bugaboo Stamps and colored pencils with gamsol. Bugaboo is the sponsor for this challenge at Scrapping4funchallenges.

I resized my image, printed it onto white cardstock, then started coloring with colored pencils and using gamsol to blend the colors on the paper. After the first layer of color, I went back in and laid down another light layer of color to brighten the colors.



I then debated on how to trim my image, I cut it square first then decided to trim tighter around the edges for placement on the card base.

I cut the card base from white cardstock, scored it and folded the card. I then used some patterned paper as my first layer then using foam tape added my image. The word dad is a rubber stamp from Unity Stamp Co and I stamped and heat embossed with black embossing powder using foam tape to give dimension to the card.
